A decentralized publishing platform Mirror has just opened up the publishing feature to everyone. Mirror utilizes cryptography and securely stores user data forever on Arweave to make everything open, decentralized, censorship-resistant, and permanent. As the frontend source code is not yet open-sourced and there are no official APIs at this point, we have kind of reverse-engineered how Mirror processes user data with cryptography and directly integrated it with our offline-first decentralized CMS.

Mirror Integration

This means now you can

load your Mirror articles onto HiÐΞ, and manage your data offline, back it up on IPFS, publish your articles to Ceramic, get sustainable rewards from HiÐΞ Protocol
publish articles to Mirror using the HiÐΞ Editor with your original data managed and stored in your preferred storage

This integration covers no way close to the full feature list of what Mirror offers, but it's rather a convenient bridge to move your articles between Mirror and many other blogging platforms and storages including HiÐΞ itself. More features are to be covered with future integrations.

What is HiÐΞ in a nutshell

We are trying to build a 100% censorship-resistant decentralized CMS, which is self-sustainable by DeFi protocols. So HiÐΞ has ultimately the same vision as Mirror, and we perfectly complement each other in a totally open, decentralized, and permissionless fashion.

How to Use Mirror on HiÐΞ

The guide below assumes you already know how to get around with HiÐΞ, so it will explain only the Mirror integration part we implemented this time.

Load Mirror Articles

Log in and go to Your Page, then click on Mirror tab. It will load your Mirror articles and now you can click one of them, which automatically loads the article onto the HiÐΞ Editor. Do whatever you like with it.

Publish to Mirror

In the Editor, go to Post screen, and save your article to HiÐΞ first, then click Mirror tab in Where To Post section.

If you haven't done so, Create Signing Keys. This will generate your keys in the same way Mirror does and store them in IndexedDB, which is considered to be secure from outside access.
